As far as we know, we're the only ISP left in the U.S.A. who does not rely upon voicemail. Why? Because we are in a service business, and you can't provide service with a canned outgoing message, and a system that records your message for some disembodied salesperson who's sitting at his (or her) desk totally ignoring the telephone.

The last time you called for tech support and left a voicemail message, how long did it take for them to get back to you? Was it hours, or was it days? Or did they even call back at all? Did you have a quick question that you needed a quick answer to? Did you get the quick answer? Maddening, isn't it? But this is the state of today's “service organizations,” which have really become non-service organizations.
